Planning a move to East Lake -neighborhoods?

Curious what people think. Been living here since 2015. Average temperature is around 73--F, so it's warm year-round. It's a a smaller city city with about 33,019 people. Household incomes average around $93,862 in East Lake. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Any help is appreciated. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Springfield. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Korean.

Hope this helps!.
