Curious what people think. Been living here since 2015. Average temperature is around 73--F, so it's warm year-round. It's a a smaller city city with about 33,019 people. Household incomes average around $93,862 in East Lake. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Any help is appreciated. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
