Weekend activities in East Lake-Orient Park?

I've lived in Pine Hills for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Lots of new development happening
- The food scene scene is excellent
The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Compared to Charlotte it's surprisingly good.
