Studio apartments in East Lansing -options?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I've been here for 16 years and With a population of 45,394, East Lansing is a smaller city. Poverty rate is 7.5%, which is pretty low. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Thoughts?

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value job market, you'll love it. The cost of living is genuinely average and I've found I love the pace of life here. My neighborhood (Downtown) is stable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Nashville, be prepared for the culture shock. pet-friendliness is completely different here. And Limited entertainment options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
