Working in East Meadow -salaries realistic?

OK so The unemployment rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Anyone in a similar situation? Looking forward to hearing from you all. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Compared to Houston it's better than expected.
