Working remotely from East Meadow

Hey, Poverty rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. Let me know your thoughts. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it's not perfect but it works for me. Compared to Phoenix it's excellent.

I work in construction here and it's exactly what I was looking for. The job market for my field is challenging. Hope this helps!.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Internet is underrated in most areas.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 11 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is weather. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..

Used to live on the Sunset side, now on the Maple Ridge side. Completely different vibe. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

I'm a electrician and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. The community is underrated and there's always something going on.
