I work in hospitality here and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market for my field is tough. Definitely worth checking out..

I'm a HR manager and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is excellent and there's always something going on.

I've been living here for 3 years and I'd say it exceeded my expectations. The public transit is underrated compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

I've lived in Eastside for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Seattle, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- The dating scene scene is solid
The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Chain restaurants dominate
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for remote workers. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
