East Milton in the winter -how bad?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I've been here for 7 years and Homes are going for about $199,900 on average. With a population of 14,280, East Milton is a small town. Household incomes average around $61,922 in East Milton. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 9 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is housing market. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The South side vs the Meadowbrook side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
