Best and worst neighborhoods in East Moline
Am I wrong here? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a sales manager who relocated here from Tampa about 8 years ago. The main reasons were work and cost of living.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good airport with direct flights
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Dating scene is rough
Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are stable, gas is average.
Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. No regrets on my end..
