How are the schools in East Moline?

Hey everyone, The unemployment rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -East Moline sits at 369.6 per 100K. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Weather-wise, the summers are hit or miss and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.

I've lived in South for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Lots of new development happening
- The nightlife scene is average

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. Hope this helps!.
