Working in East Niles -salaries realistic?
Hi all, I grew up here but left for a while. Homes are going for about $228,100 on average. Rent is about $1,219/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 6.2%, which is concerning. Household incomes average around $51,250 in East Niles. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What do you all think? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
