Hey folks, I'm a teacher here and Crime rate is something to consider -East Pasadena sits at 37.4 per 100K. With a population of 5,592, East Pasadena is a small town. Homes are going for about $1,002,700 on average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development.
