Best restaurants in East Patchogue?

Been meaning to ask this. I've been here for 8 years and Crime rate is something to consider -East Patchogue sits at 22.0 per 100K. Poverty rate is 3.6%, which is pretty low. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What would you do? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Uptown for 6 years. Moved from Phoenix for weather. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is pretty good. We bought in 2023 at k and it's now worth down slightly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 1-bed in a safe area. Lots of new construction which should help.

**Employment:**
real estate is strong here. education is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are manageable for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it's exactly what I was looking for. The outdoor scene is improving - we have rivers within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Uptown schools are pretty good. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Summers can be brutally hot. Rising rent and home prices. And weather can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For singles, I'd say this is a 7/10. Good luck with whatever you decide.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.
