Is East Point good for remote workers?

My family moved here when I was a kid. Average temperature is around 64--F, so the weather is moderate. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Anyone in a similar situation? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from Dallas and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Sunset. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in construction. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.

No regrets on my end..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
