So, My family moved here when I was a kid. It's a a small town city with about 22,034 people. The unemployment rate is 3.9%, which is pretty low. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Let me know your thoughts. Any help is appreciated. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Riverside. It's improving for what you get.
Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in legal. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.
People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like craft beer.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is healthcare. I genuinely enjoy living here. Worth doing your research before committing.

I've lived in Pine Hills for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Affordable housing options
- Strong sense of community
- The food scene scene is tough
The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Property taxes are high
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for singles. Feel free to reach out with questions..
