Life in East Ridge as a young professional

Random thought, I'm retired and Rent is about $1,112/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 3.9%, which is pretty low. With a population of 22,034, East Ridge is a small town. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I overthinking this? The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
