Best industries in East St. Louis right now

I'm originally from Portland and Average temperature is around 57--F, so the weather is moderate. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Worth the trade-offs? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it's been a really good experience overall. Compared to San Francisco it's underrated.
