Unpopular opinion about East Whittier

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a remote worker and With a population of 10,061, East Whittier is a small town. Rent is about $1,725/month for a decent place. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

I work in construction here and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market for my field is challenging. Definitely worth checking out..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it's exactly what I was looking for. Compared to Denver it's pretty good.
