Been meaning to ask this. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Poverty rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $2,273/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $158,526 in Eastchester. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Is this normal for Eastchester? Appreciate any input. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
