What Eastern Goleta Valley does better than anywhere else

Hi all, I'm a 50-year-old writer and It's a a smaller city city with about 29,411 people. You can expect to pay around $2,924 for rent here. Rent is about $2,924/month for a decent place. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. Weather-wise, the summers are hit or miss and winters are wild. You get used to it after the first year.
