Commute times in Easthampton Town -how bad?

Anyone else feel this way? Born and raised here. The median home value here is around $343,800, which seems about average. Poverty rate is 4.6%, which is pretty low. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. Thanks! It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Atlanta about 5 years ago. The main reasons were school and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good airport with direct flights
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Nightlife is limited

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are reasonable, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Used to live on the Old Town side, now on the Pine Hills side. Completely different vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me.
