Why I chose Easthampton Town over bigger cities

Alright, We're a young couple and Crime rate is something to consider -Easthampton Town sits at 231.6 per 100K. Average temperature is around 49--F, so expect cold winters. The median home value here is around $343,800, which seems about average. Median household income is $72,925, which feels about average for the area. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Has anyone dealt with this? Thanks! There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Weather-wise, the summers are surprisingly good and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Active local events and festivals
- The safety scene is decent

The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for families. Hope this helps!.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. the quality of life is solid. Internet is challenging in most areas.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to Boston it's solid.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want food scene, then yeah this place is great. But if dating scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want housing market, then yeah this place is great. But if walkability matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
