Working in Eastlake -salaries realistic?

First post here. It's a a small town city with about 17,538 people. Household incomes average around $62,510 in Eastlake. With a population of 17,538, Eastlake is a small town. Rent is about $968/month for a decent place. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Does this match your experience? Cheers. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Weather-wise, the summers are hit or miss and winters are reasonable. You get used to it after the first year.

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good schools in most areas
- The food scene scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
