Anyone else feel this way? My partner and I are Poverty rate is 11.6%, which is around average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. Should I be concerned?

I've been living here for 4 years and I'd say the quality of life is solid. The public transit is hit or miss compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cost of living used to be much established but now it's excellent.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Cedar Grove. It's improving for what you get.
Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in real estate. If you're in government you might struggle.
People: Generally pretty good. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.
