Commute times in Eastpointe -how bad?

I'm single, late 50s, and Household incomes average around $58,196 in Eastpointe. Crime rate is something to consider -Eastpointe sits at 689.6 per 100K. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Is this normal for Eastpointe?

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I love the pace of life here. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I love the pace of life here. Internet is decent in most areas.
