Grocery stores in Eatontown -recommendations?

I'm originally from Salt Lake City and The unemployment rate is 5.7%, which is about average. With a population of 13,537, Eatontown is a small town. Homes are going for about $454,300 on average. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Any advice would be great. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a social worker who relocated here from Tampa about 8 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good internet infrastructure
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are competitive, gas is decent.

Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Definitely worth checking out..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want nightlife, then yeah this place is great. But if nightlife matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value outdoor recreation, you'll love it. The food scene is genuinely improving and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. My neighborhood (Sunset) is reasonable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Minneapolis, be prepared for the culture shock. safety is completely different here. And Nightlife is limited.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

If you value public transit, you'll love it. The traffic is genuinely excellent and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. My neighborhood (North) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from New York, be prepared for the culture shock. pet-friendliness is completely different here. And Traffic during rush hour is rough.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Came here for family and stayed because it's improved dramatically in recent years. The dating scene is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a writer who relocated here from Charlotte about 11 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Strong job market in several industries
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are competitive, gas is excellent.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Bought a house here in 2016 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone up a bit since then.
