Moving to Economy for work -advice?

I relocated for work and Median household income is $94,430, which feels pretty solid for the area. Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I wrong here? The weather takes some getting used to.

We moved here with our family and it was the best decision I ever made. Schools in Maple Ridge area are challenging. Kids love it here.
