Anyone regret moving to Eden Prairie?

Longtime lurker here, Median household income is $127,732, which feels pretty solid for the area. You can expect to pay around $1,761 for rent here. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

I've lived in Sunset for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Decent public transit for the size
- The safety scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Limited entertainment options
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for retirees. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
