Eden Prairie quality of life -am I missing something?

Anyone else feel this way? You can expect to pay around $1,761 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Eden Prairie sits at 80.3 per 100K. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. Am I overthinking this? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Bought a house here in 2016 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. safety used to be much reasonable but now it's better than expected.
