Working in Eden Prairie -salaries realistic?

First post here. I work in government and Rent is about $1,761/month for a decent place. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Would love some local perspective.

I work in hospitality here and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market for my field is better than expected. Happy to answer more specific questions..
