I'm a teacher here and Median household income is $61,442, which feels about average for the area. It's a a small town city with about 1,366 people. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Looking forward to hearing from you all. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Compared to San Diego it's solid.
