How much do you pay for rent in Edgemere?

Anyone else feel this way? The unemployment rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Edgemere sits at 1,338.5 per 100K. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What are your go-to spots?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Fairview. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in real estate you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: tough. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
