First post here. Just moved here 6 months ago and The median home value here is around $352,100, which seems about average. It's a a small town city with about 8,778 people. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Internet is better than expected in most areas.

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The food scene is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.
I've been here 5 years and the quality of life is solid. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is decent.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Lakewood side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
