Random thought, I'm retired and The unemployment rate is 0.8%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $289,700, which seems about average. It's a a small town city with about 8,429 people. Rent is about $991/month for a decent place. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. Would love some local perspective. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
