Is Edgewood worth it salary-wise?
You can expect to pay around $1,837 for rent here. Any advice would be great.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Springfield. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in tech. If you're in retail you might struggle.
People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: average. Tons of options if you like sushi.
Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
