Been meaning to ask this. The median home value here is around $664,000, which is pretty steep. Household incomes average around $114,342 in Edgewood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What would you do? The weather takes some getting used to.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are tough, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
