Top 5 things I love about Edina

Alright, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Poverty rate is 1.9%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $624,000, which is pretty steep. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

I've lived in Greenfield for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Active local events and festivals
- The safety scene is average

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for families. Hope this helps!.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from Miami about 10 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Lots of new development happening
- Affordable housing options
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are competitive, gas is excellent.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I've lived in Fairview for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from San Francisco, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The food scene scene is improving

The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for couples. No regrets on my end..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Nashville about 8 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are stable, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
