Is Edmond getting better or worse?

Random thought, I'm retired and You can expect to pay around $1,313 for rent here. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Am I wrong here?

We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in North area are challenging. Kids love it here.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Portland about 3 years ago. The main reasons were weather and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Strong sense of community
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Can feel isolated
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are reasonable, gas is tough.

Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Internet is solid in most areas.

I've been living here for 7 years and I'd say it's exactly what I was looking for. The dating scene is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..

I work in real estate here and it's exactly what I was looking for. The job market for my field is surprisingly good. Good luck with whatever you decide..
