I'm a remote worker and Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. The unemployment rate is 2.7%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 1.9%, which is pretty low. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. Does this match your experience? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
