Been meaning to ask this. Household incomes average around $116,095 in Edmonds. What are your go-to spots?

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want food scene, then yeah this place is great. But if healthcare matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is outdoor recreation. it was the best decision I ever made. Worth doing your research before committing.

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is cost of living. Other than that, Definitely worth checking out..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.
I've been here 10 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is better than expected.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
It's not for everyone but it works for us..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Sunset. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in government. If you're in engineering you might struggle.
People: Generally improving. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like BBQ.
Happy to answer more specific questions..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value traffic, you'll love it. The walkability is genuinely tough and I've found it was the best decision I ever made. My neighborhood (Meadowbrook) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from Denver, be prepared for the culture shock. outdoor recreation is completely different here. And Limited high-paying job options.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I have mixed feelings honestly. Compared to Pittsburgh it's underrated.

Public transit is surprisingly good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's been a really good experience overall.

Hot take but the quality of life is solid. I know a lot of people disagree but after 6 years here, that's my honest assessment.
