Relocating to Eggertsville, NY -pros and cons?

Curious what people think. Rent is about $868/month for a decent place. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. TIA! Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Public transit is pretty good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I love the pace of life here.

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The outdoor recreation is honestly challenging and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
