So, Rent is about $1,790/month for a decent place. With a population of 105K, El Cajon is a mid-size city. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cost of living, then yeah this place is great. But if job market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
