Should I move to El Cajon or stay in Pittsburgh?

Anyone else feel this way? We're a young couple and Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. With a population of 105K, El Cajon is a mid-size city. Homes are going for about $632,800 on average. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are surprisingly good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The pet-friendliness is honestly solid and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I work in real estate here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is challenging. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
