Working remotely from El Cajon

Hey everyone, I'm a teacher here and Poverty rate is 16.1%, which is higher than I expected. The median home value here is around $632,800, which is pretty steep. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Used to live on the Downtown side, now on the Riverside side. Completely different vibe. I love the pace of life here.

I'm a chef and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is hit or miss and there's always something going on.

We moved here with our family and I have mixed feelings honestly. Schools in North area are excellent. Kids love it here.
