Worst things about El Centro nobody talks about
Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a 29-year-old real estate agent and With a population of 44,186, El Centro is a smaller city. Poverty rate is 17.2%, which is higher than I expected. It's a a smaller city city with about 44,186 people. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. Worth the trade-offs? Cheers. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
