Cost of living reality check -El Paso de Robles (Paso Robles)

Random thought, I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Used to live on the Eastside side, now on the The Heights side. Completely different vibe. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cost of living. it's been a really good experience overall. Worth doing your research before committing.

Bought a house here in 2022 and I genuinely enjoy living here. Property values have gone about the same since then.
