Best coffee shops in El Paso?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and With a population of 678K, El Paso is a major city. The median home value here is around $171,700, which is actually reasonable. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Thoughts? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a accountant who relocated here from Nashville about 3 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Lots of new development happening
- Four distinct seasons

Cons that are real:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are stable, gas is pretty good.

Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Definitely worth checking out..
