Studio apartments in Eldorado at Santa Fe -options?
Hey, Been living here since 2008. The unemployment rate is 1.3%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $96,692, which feels pretty solid for the area. Homes are going for about $542,800 on average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Thanks in advance! Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.
I've been here 11 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is better than expected.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Maple Ridge side vs the Springfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
It's not for everyone but it works for us..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Greenfield. It's average for what you get.
Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in retail. If you're in finance you might struggle.
People: Generally better than expected. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Thai.
