Random thought, We're a young couple and With a population of 114K, Elgin is a mid-size city. The unemployment rate is 4.4%, which is about average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Has anyone dealt with this? Thanks in advance! Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
