Been meaning to ask this. I'm single, late 30s, and Household incomes average around $44,834 in Elizabethton. The suburbs are where most families end up. Worth the trade-offs? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
