Best hidden gems in Elk City

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Crime rate is something to consider -Elk City sits at 113.0 per 100K. Rent is about $850/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Thoughts?

Used to live on the Oak Park side, now on the Maple Ridge side. Completely different vibe. it was the best decision I ever made.
